School Board Campaign Signs

School board signs that look like they belong on the ballot.

Full color, printed edge to edge, a steel H-stake in every sign and free FedEx Ground. Most school board races need 30 to 60 signs, and 50 is where campaign pricing starts: $359.

A designer proofs your artwork within 2–4 hours and nothing prints until you approve it.

A school board race is a name-recognition race

School board seats are often non-partisan, usually low-turnout, and regularly decided by a few hundred votes. Most voters reach that part of the ballot knowing one or two names. Signs on the streets parents drive twice a day, and at the end of every supporter’s driveway, are how yours becomes one of them.

Most school board candidates need 30 to 60 signs: one for every 50 to 75 votes you need to win, plus a third for weather and theft. That is the 50-sign pack — $359 with campaign pricing single sided, $449 double sided for the corners where traffic comes both ways.

The look that works: your last name large, “School Board” on one line, and a friendly palette — hometown green and gold, or the colors of your district. Leave the district’s logo off unless you have permission; the colors alone carry the association. Full color costs nothing extra, and every sign is printed edge to edge on 4mm coroplast.

Questions from school board candidates

How many signs does a school board race need?
One for every 50 to 75 votes you need to win, then a third more. A seat that takes 1,500 votes wants 27 to 40 signs; one that takes 3,000 wants 54 to 80. Most school board candidates land on the 50 pack. The arithmetic for any race.
Can I use the school district’s colors or logo?
Colors, yes — nobody owns green and gold. The district’s logo or mascot artwork is another matter: using it can read as an endorsement the district has not given, so leave it off unless you have permission in writing.
Does a non-partisan race still need "Paid for by"?
Usually, yes. The disclaimer rule is about who paid for the sign, not about party, so most states apply it to school board races too. Your county or state election office publishes the wording; give it to us and we set it small along the bottom edge. We are printers, not election lawyers.
Can I put signs at the school?
Usually not on school grounds, and many schools are polling places with their own distance rule on Election Day. Supporters’ yards on the streets around the school are the place. Your district office or town clerk will know the rule.
Do you sell 25?
Yes — 25 for $219 single sided, $279 double sided. Campaign pricing starts at 50, where it is $359: $140 more for 25 more signs.
When do I need to order for November 3?
A proof within 2–4 business hours, production the next business day after you approve it, then free FedEx Ground — usually two business days, not guaranteed. Order by Friday, October 23 and you are comfortable for Tuesday, November 3. Order by Wednesday, October 28 and it will very likely still make it; later than that, email us before you pay and we will be honest about it. The clock starts when you approve the proof, so approve it the day it arrives.

Ready when you are, and nothing prints until you say so.

Describe the sign and our AI designer will draw three concepts in about 20 seconds — or send a logo and a person lays it out for you, free. Nothing prints until you approve a proof.
