Height is the whole point

A yard sign competes with everything at eye level. A 14-foot flag doesn't — it sits above parked cars, above other signage, and it moves. Movement is what catches a driver's eye at 35 mph.

The graphic is dye-sublimated into 4 oz polyester mesh, so the ink is in the fabric rather than sitting on top of it. It won't crack, and the mesh lets wind pass through instead of fighting it.

Which version do I need?

Designing for a flag

  • Read it top to bottom — logo up top, offer below
  • Big type. This gets read from 50+ feet, often from a moving car.
  • One message. "OPEN" or "FOR SALE" beats a paragraph.
  • The flag curls in wind, so keep key content centered and away from the outer curve
  • Strong contrast — the mesh softens fine detail

File requirements

Two minutes, one person, no tools.

Set the base where you want it. Drive the ground stake into soft ground, or set the cross or square base on a hard surface.

Connect the four pole sections. They interlock by hand — push until each joint seats.

Slide the flag down over the pole through the sewn sleeve, starting at the top.

Drop the pole into the base and secure the flag at the bottom. Pull the elastic cord tight — that's what keeps it from looking wrinkled.

If it looks loose or wrinkled

It's almost always the elastic cord at the bottom. Pull it firm and the whole flag pulls smooth. This is the single most common setup complaint and it takes five seconds to fix.

What does "print thru" actually mean?
The mesh is direct printed and then sublimated, so the ink passes through the fabric. The front is full color and vibrant; the back shows the same artwork mirrored and slightly muted, but still legible. It's a real, readable back — not blank.
When should I pay for double sided?
When people approach from both directions and your artwork has text that must read correctly either way. Two separate graphics are sewn back to back with a silver blockout layer in between, so neither side shows through. For a single-direction storefront, single sided is usually plenty.
Which base do I need?
Grass or dirt: ground stake, included. It has a ball bearing so the flag swivels with the wind instead of fighting it. Pavement: cross base for most situations, square base if it's windy or high-traffic since it's 21.8 lbs. Add the water bag if you want cross-base portability with square-base weight.
Will it survive wind?
The mesh fabric lets wind pass through, which is exactly why flags use mesh instead of vinyl. In sustained high wind or a storm, take it down — that's true of every feather flag on the market.
Can I wash it?
Yes. The flag material is washable. Cold water, mild detergent, air dry fully before storing.
Can I reuse the pole and base with a new graphic?
Yes, and you should. Order Flag Only at $99 for your next campaign and keep the hardware. Seasonal businesses often keep one set of poles and swap graphics through the year.
How many should I order?
Three or four in a row along your frontage reads as a real presence. A single flag reads as an afterthought. Since it's the same artwork there's no extra design work — set the quantity in the order form and the price is simply per flag, times the number you pick.
How tall is it really?
14 feet assembled. The printed graphic itself is 28″ wide by 138″ tall; the rest is pole below the flag. It clears parked cars and most hedges, which is the point.
