Directional Arrow Signs

Arrow signs. One word, one arrow, huge.

For open houses, event parking, races, job sites and anything people need to find. 10 for $95 with stakes, split left and right however you need.

A designer proofs your artwork within 2–4 hours and nothing prints until you approve it.

The best directional sign is almost empty

A directional sign has one reader — a driver approaching a decision point — and two seconds. It needs an arrow, one or two words, and nothing else. "PARKING →." "OPEN HOUSE ←." "5K START ↑." Your logo can be small at the bottom. The moment a directional has a sentence on it, it has failed.

Colour matters more than design. Use one background colour for the whole event so drivers learn to look for it: all the parking signs yellow, all the registration signs blue. High contrast — black on yellow, white on red, white on navy — reads in any light.

Order the ten-pack as a left/right split — five and five is the default — and place them at every turn from the main road, not just the last one. Collect them afterward; most cities require it, and the ones left out walk off.

Same colour on every sign so drivers learn what to look for. Reuse them for every event; the message is generic on purpose.

Questions we get from organisers

Can I get some left arrows and some right arrows in one order?
Yes, and you should. Tell us the split on the proof request — 5/5 is the default for ten, 13/12 for twenty-five. Same price either way.
Single or double-sided?
Single, for directionals. They are read from one direction — the approach to the turn. Double-sided spends $30 on a back nobody sees. Longer answer.
What colour is easiest to read from a car?
Black on yellow has the highest contrast in daylight and is what road signs use for warnings. White on navy or white on red are close behind. Avoid anything with a photo or gradient behind the arrow.
How far apart should directionals be?
One at every turn, plus one every quarter mile on a long straight so drivers know they are still on the route. Put the first one where people leave the main road — that is the one everyone forgets.
