Frequently Asked Questions
Answers about ordering, design files, shipping, pricing, and every product we carry.
General Ordering
How does the ordering process work?
Four steps. (1) Pick your product and options — the price updates as you click. (2) Upload artwork, or skip it and type what the sign should say in the notes. (3) Pay securely through Stripe. (4) A designer emails a proof within 2–4 business hours. Reply with changes — one concept and two rounds are included; nothing prints until you say go. Once you approve, your order ships the next business day by free FedEx Ground shipping and you get a tracking number the day it leaves.
Do I have to send a design file to place an order?
No — you can place your order without a finished design file. In the notes field, describe what you need: your business name, colors, website, phone number, and any text. You can also upload a rough logo or a photo of a sign you like for reference.
We'll design a layout and send you a proof within 2–4 hours. If you already have a print-ready file (PDF, AI, EPS), that works too — just upload it and we'll go straight to proof.
When do I see the proof?
After you order. Place the order and a designer lays out your artwork; the proof is in your inbox within 2–4 business hours. Nothing goes on press until you reply to approve it, so paying is not the same as printing.
What if I don't like the proof?
Reply to the proof email with what to change — font, logo position, colours, wording — and we send a revised proof, usually within a couple of hours. One design concept and two rounds of revisions are included. We would rather use both rounds than print something you don't love, because we can't take a sign with your phone number on it back.
What's your satisfaction guarantee?
If we make a production error — printing a color wrong, shipping the wrong size, a defect in the finished product — we'll reprint and reship at no charge. If you approved a proof and the print matches what you approved, that's a successful order. We stand behind our work. Email orders@signblastusa.com with a photo of any issue.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Cancellations and changes are possible before you approve the proof. Email orders@signblastusa.com as soon as possible. Once you approve a proof and your order enters production, we can't accept cancellations because materials have been cut and printing has begun.
Do you charge extra to rush an order?
No. There is no rush tier and no rush fee. Every order gets a proof within 2–4 hours, ships the next business day after you approve, and travels on the same free FedEx Ground service. The only thing that changes your delivery date is how quickly you approve the proof.
Custom Event Tents
How much does a custom event tent cost?
Custom event tent prices at Sign Blast USA: 10x10 = $699, 10x15 = $1,049, 10x20 = $1,249. All prices include the custom printed canopy top, aluminum hex frame, stakes, ropes, and carry bag. Printed full walls start at $279 and half walls at $209. FREE FedEx Ground shipping is included on every tent order.
What's the difference between a top-only and full-wall tent?
The base price is the canopy top on the frame. Walls are optional and priced on the order form: a printed full wall is $279, a half (counter-height) wall is $209 single-sided or $349 double-sided, and the long back wall on a 10×15 or 10×20 is $409 or $549. Walls attach with sewn-in velcro, so you can start with an open canopy and add walls later without replacing anything.
How long does it take to receive a custom event tent?
Day 1: order, proof emailed within 2–4 hours. Approve it and the tent enters production; printed walls add about a day. It ships by free FedEx Ground and lands two business days after that — roughly 4–5 business days from order to delivery for a canopy, a day more with walls. There is no rush upcharge; that is the standard timeline.
What size tent do I need for a farmers market or outdoor event?
The 10x10 tent is the standard farmers market booth size and the most popular choice. It covers a 10-foot square space — enough for a table, two people working, and product display. The 10x15 gives you extra depth for a larger setup. The 10x20 is ideal for double-booth spaces, food trucks with a service window, or events where you need maximum coverage.
What file format should I use for a tent design?
For tent canopy printing, we prefer PDF, AI (Adobe Illustrator), or high-resolution PNG/JPG at 150 DPI or higher at actual print size. If your logo is vector-based, that's ideal. If you only have a small logo file, we can work with it — just include a note with your brand colors and any text you want on the tent.
Are the tent frames durable? Will they last outdoors?
Yes. The frame is 40 mm aluminium hex tubing — the commercial grade used for trade-show and vendor tents, not the thin steel of a hardware-store pop-up. The 6 oz canopy is dye-sublimated so the print is in the fabric, and it is water-resistant and UV-stable. Stakes and ropes are included for grass. On concrete or asphalt add the set of four weight bags ($69 on the order form, 50 lb each when filled with sand).
Yard Signs
How much do yard signs cost?
Yard signs are sold in packs: 10 for $95, 25 for $219, 50 for $399, 100 for $749, 250 for $1,749 — single-sided, 18"×24", 4 mm coroplast, full colour. Double-sided is $125, $279, $499, $929 and $2,149. Every price includes one steel H-stake per sign, a designer's proof and free FedEx Ground shipping, so $95 is the total for ten signs delivered. Above 250, email orders@signblastusa.com for a same-day quote.
What are yard signs made of?
4 mm corrugated plastic (coroplast), the standard material for outdoor signs — light, waterproof and UV-stable, good for a full season and usually longer. Signs are single-sided by default, printed on the front with a white back; choose double-sided on the order form when traffic passes from both directions.
How fast can I actually get yard signs?
Proof within 2–4 business hours of ordering. Approve it and your signs ship the next business day by free FedEx Ground, so they are in your hands about three business days after approval — approve Monday morning, have them Thursday. Orders placed after 2 PM Eastern may not get a proof until the next morning. We do not ship weekends or federal holidays.
What's the standard yard sign size?
Our standard yard sign is 18 inches tall by 24 inches wide — the most common size for real estate signs, campaign signs, contractor signs, and event signage. Custom sizes are available by request — email orders@signblastusa.com for a quote.
Do yard signs come with stakes?
Yes. One 10"×30" steel H-stake ships with every sign at no charge — push the stake into the ground, slide the sign down onto the two prongs. Stakes are reusable, so most repeat customers already have a pile of them; if you rotate signs between sites or lose a few each season, a spare pack of 50 is $150 on the order form. You never need to buy stakes to use our signs.
Can I buy just one yard sign?
Yard signs start at a pack of ten — the press setup is the same for one sign as for ten, so a single sign would cost nearly as much as the pack. If you truly need one sign, the honest alternative is a replacement A-frame graphic ($39, if you own a frame) or a 2×4 banner ($40). Everything else we sell — banners, magnets, flags, tents, backdrops, canvas — can be ordered as a single unit.
Can I order different designs in the same batch?
Yes — you can mix designs within an order. Just note in the special instructions field how many signs you need of each design, and upload all design files together. For example: "5 signs with File A, 5 signs with File B." We'll proof each design separately before printing.
Vinyl Banners
How much do vinyl banners cost?
Sign Blast USA banner pricing: 2x4 = $40, 2x6 = $50, 2x8 = $60, 3x6 = $70. All prices include full-color printing on 13oz scrim vinyl, hemmed edges, and brass grommets. FREE FedEx Ground shipping included. Custom sizes are available — contact us for a quote.
What material are the banners printed on?
13 oz scrim vinyl — a solid PVC sheet reinforced with a woven polyester scrim inside, the industry standard for outdoor banners. It is tear-resistant, waterproof and UV-stable. Every banner is hemmed on all four sides with brass grommets about every two feet. Rope, bungees or zip ties all work for hanging; on a fence, zip-tie every grommet.
Can banners be hung outdoors in the wind?
Yes, with the grommets doing the work — use every one, keep the banner taut, and it handles normal weather. Scrim vinyl is solid, so in sustained high wind a big banner acts like a sail; on an exposed fence or between poles a mesh banner (which lets about a third of the wind through) is the better choice — email us and we will quote it. Some shops cut wind slits; we do not recommend it, they weaken the banner and don't help much.
What resolution should my banner file be?
Banners are read from a distance, so 100 DPI at full size is plenty and 150 DPI is ideal. At full size a 3 ft × 6 ft banner is 36" × 72", which is 3,600 × 7,200 pixels at 100 DPI or 5,400 × 10,800 at 150 DPI. If you design at a quarter scale (9" × 18"), use 400–600 DPI instead. A PDF or AI file with fonts outlined is best because the text stays sharp at any size; a high-resolution JPG or PNG works too. If your file is too small we will tell you before it prints.
Vinyl Stickers
How much do custom vinyl stickers cost?
Sign Blast USA sticker pricing starts at 50 for $65. A 3″ × 3″ square is 100 for $99, 2″ × 2″ is 100 for $89, and 4″ × 4″ is 100 for $129. Rectangles sit in between: 3×2 at 100 for $95, 4×2 at 100 for $105. Free shipping and a free designer proof are in every price.
Are the stickers weatherproof?
Yes. Gloss vinyl with a UV coat over the print, rated for indoor or outdoor use. They go on trucks, hard hats, tool boxes and equipment and stay there through heat, cold, rain and a pressure washer.
Do you cut stickers into a custom shape?
Not yet. Every sticker is cut square or rectangular, with rounded or sharp corners at no extra cost. If a contour cut around your logo is the whole point of the job, tell us and we will point you somewhere that does it rather than sell you something else.
Why is the sticker minimum 50?
Shipping. Below 50 the freight costs more than the stickers do, and charging you for that would be silly.
Can I get 20% off my first sticker order?
Yes. A 20% discount applies automatically to your first sticker order — there is nothing to type, we check at checkout and take it off before you pay. It applies once per customer, on stickers only.
Postcards
How much do postcards cost?
Sign Blast USA postcard pricing: 4″ × 6″ is 100 for $49, 250 for $79, 500 for $119 and 1,000 for $189. 5″ × 7″ is 100 for $59, 250 for $99, 500 for $159 and 1,000 for $259. All 16pt card stock, printed full colour on both sides, with free shipping.
Do you charge extra to print the back of a postcard?
No. Both sides are in every price. If you want the back blank that is fine and it costs exactly the same.
How fast do postcards arrive?
A proof comes back within 2 to 4 business hours. After you approve it the job goes into production the next business day and ships FedEx Priority Overnight, so most orders are in hand about three business days after approval. These are estimates, not guarantees.
Will you mail the postcards out for me?
No. We print and ship them to you; we do not run mailing lists or postage. If you need a mail drop, your local mail house or post office handles that side and we will make sure the cards are the right size for it.
Why did I receive more postcards than I ordered?
We print on large sheets and cut them down, and we send you everything that comes off the sheet rather than throwing the extras away. It is not a promotion and the exact overage varies.
Business Cards
How much do 500 business cards cost?
$49 for 500, printed full colour on both sides on 16pt card stock, with free design help, a proof before printing and free shipping in the price — about $0.10 a card. 100 are $29, 250 are $39, and 1,000 are $69.
Is 16pt thicker than standard business card stock?
Yes, by roughly 15% over the 14pt that most large online printers default to. It is the difference between a card that feels like a receipt and one that feels like a card. Ours is 16pt at every quantity with no upcharge.
Why do I get more business cards than I ordered?
Seventy-two cards fit on a 16pt sheet and we ship whole sheets. Order 500 and the press runs seven sheets, which is 504 cards, and you get all of them. Order 100 and you will usually see around 144. It is not a promotion and we cannot guarantee an exact number.
Can each person on my crew have their own card?
Yes, but each different card is its own design and its own order. Tell us in the notes and we will lay them all out from one template so they match, then send you a single proof covering the set.
Car & Truck Magnets
How much do car magnets cost?
Magnets are sold as a matched set of two, one for each door: 18×12 for $75, 24×12 for $95 and 24×18 for $120. 30 mil magnet, direct UV print, rounded corners, free FedEx Ground shipping.
Will a magnet stick to my truck door?
Only to steel. Many newer doors are aluminium — most Ford F-150s since 2015, many EVs — or plastic, and those will not hold a magnet. Test the exact spot with a fridge magnet before you order. If the fridge magnet falls off, ours will too, and printed magnets cannot be returned.
Will it fly off on the highway?
Not if the surface is clean, flat, dry steel and the magnet is laid flat with no air under an edge. Take it off and wipe both surfaces every couple of weeks — grit under a magnet is what lifts an edge, and a lifted edge is what catches wind.
Can I put my yard signs and magnets on one order?
Yes, and it is the cheaper way to do it. The Contractor Kit bundles double-sided signs with a magnet set off one artwork file, one proof and one box, and saves $25 against buying them separately.
Feather Flags
How much is a 14 ft feather flag?
A complete kit is $149 — the printed 28″ × 138″ flag, a 4-piece tool-free pole set, and a ground stake base. Double-sided printing adds $70, upgraded bases run $29 to $49, and a zippered carry bag is $39. The replacement graphic on its own is $99.
What does "print thru" mean on a single-sided flag?
The mesh is printed and then sublimated so ink passes through the fabric. The front is full color and vibrant; the back shows the same artwork mirrored and slightly muted, but still readable. It's a real readable back, not a blank one. Choose double sided when traffic approaches from both directions and the text has to read correctly either way.
Which base should I choose?
Grass or dirt: the included aluminum ground stake, which has a ball bearing so the flag swivels with the wind. Pavement: the 6.73 lb cross base for most situations, or the 21.83 lb steel square base if it's windy or high traffic. Add a water bag to the cross base for extra weight without extra shipping weight.
Will a feather flag survive wind?
The mesh fabric lets wind pass through, which is why flags use mesh rather than vinyl. In sustained high wind or a storm, take it down — that's true of every feather flag on the market, not just ours.
How many flags should I order?
Three or four in a row along your frontage reads as a real presence; a single flag reads as an afterthought. Since it's the same artwork there's no extra design work — set the quantity in the order form and the price is simply per flag, times the number you pick.
Step & Repeat Backdrops
What is a step and repeat backdrop?
A step and repeat backdrop is a large fabric print featuring a repeating pattern of logos or graphics — originally designed so that no matter where photographers take photos along the backdrop, a logo is always in frame. They're standard at red carpet events, award ceremonies, press conferences, weddings, and trade shows. The "step and repeat" name comes from the printing technique of stepping the logo across and repeating it in a grid pattern.
What sizes do step and repeat backdrops come in?
We build one size: 10 ft wide × 8 ft high (120″ × 96″). It's the size that actually fills the frame in a group photo, which is the whole point of a step and repeat. The complete kit — printed graphic, adjustable large-tube stand and carry bag — is $379. If you already own a stand, the graphic on its own is $249. Custom sizes from 6x4 up to 10x8 are available; email orders@signblastusa.com for a quote.
How do you set up a step and repeat backdrop?
The graphic has 3" pole pockets sewn top and bottom. Slide the crossbars through the pockets, clip them to the two telescoping uprights, and raise the uprights to tension the fabric — about five minutes for one person, no tools. The stand is height- and width-adjustable and packs into the included carry bag.
Can I use a step and repeat backdrop outdoors?
Yes for a sheltered patio or a tent; the fabric and print are weather-resistant. The stand is a freestanding pipe-and-drape style, so in open wind it needs weight on the feet or it will go over. Pair it with an event tent, or keep it indoors for anything windy.
Canvas Prints
What sizes do canvas prints come in?
Sign Blast USA canvas prints are available in five sizes: 8x10" ($50), 11x14" ($60), 16x20" ($70), 18x24" ($80), and 24x36" ($95). All sizes ship FREE via FedEx Ground shipping. Need a size not listed? Email us for a custom quote.
Are canvas prints ready to hang?
Yes. Each canvas is hand-stretched over 1.5" stretcher bars — a gallery wrap, so the image continues around the sides and no frame is needed — and arrives with the hanging kit already attached. Open the box, put a nail in the wall, done. Portrait or landscape follows your file; add a note if it isn't obvious.
What photo resolution do I need for a canvas print?
For the best canvas print quality: 8x10" needs at least 2400x3000 px, 16x20" needs at least 4800x6000 px, 24x36" needs at least 7200x10800 px. These figures are at 300 DPI. Canvas prints are typically viewed from a distance, so 150–200 DPI at print size also produces excellent results. If your photo was taken on a modern smartphone (12+ megapixels), it's almost certainly high enough resolution for any size we offer.
Who orders canvas prints from Sign Blast USA?
Popular customers include real estate agents (property listing photos and headshots for offices), restaurants (food photography wall art and logo canvas), small business owners (storefront and lobby decor), gyms and spas (motivational art), and individuals looking for a fast, high-quality photo-to-canvas gift or home decor piece. Everyone gets the same free shipping.
Design & File Prep
What file formats do you accept?
We accept: PDF, AI (Adobe Illustrator), PSD (Photoshop), SVG, PNG, JPG/JPEG. For signs and banners, PDF or AI with embedded fonts and vector graphics gives the sharpest results. For canvas prints and photo-based products, high-resolution JPG or PNG is ideal. We will contact you if your file is too low-resolution to print cleanly.
What if I don't have a logo or design file?
No problem. Describe what you want in the notes — business name, contact info, colours, style — or paste your website or Instagram link and we will pull your branding from there. A designer lays it out and emails a proof within 2–4 hours. One design concept and two rounds of revisions are included.
Is custom design really free?
Yes — basic layout and design is included in every order at no charge. This covers typesetting your text, placing your logo, and creating a clean print-ready layout. Complex design requests (custom illustration, multiple concept options, branding from scratch) may involve a design fee — we'll let you know before proceeding if that's the case.
How should I send my design file if it's too large to upload?
The upload limit on the order form is 8 MB per file and up to 3 files. If your file is larger, place your order without a file upload, then email your file to orders@signblastusa.com with your name and order details in the subject line. Google Drive links and WeTransfer links also work — just paste the link in the notes field.
Can you print a bleed on banners and signs?
Yes — if your design has a background that extends to the edge, set up your file with at least 0.25" bleed on all sides. Mark your safe zone (keep text and logos) at least 0.5" from the edge. For banners, we account for the hemmed edge when setting up the file. If you're unsure, just send your file and we'll handle it — we'll show you in the proof exactly how it will print.
Shipping & Delivery
Is shipping really free on every order?
Yes — every order ships free by FedEx Ground, with no order minimum: one banner, one magnet set, a ten-pack of signs or a 10×20 tent, same service. There are no codes to enter; the price on the order form is the delivered price (before sales tax where it applies).
Do you ship to Alaska, Hawaii, and US territories?
We ship to the 48 contiguous US states. Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and other US territories may have additional shipping charges or extended delivery times — email orders@signblastusa.com before placing your order if you're in one of these locations and we'll give you a shipping quote.
When does my order ship?
The business day after you approve your proof. Timeline: order → proof within 2–4 hours → you approve → ships next business day → FedEx Ground → delivered two business days after that. Tents with printed walls add about a day of production. Orders placed after 2 PM Eastern may not get a proof until the next morning; we don't ship on weekends or federal holidays.
Will I get a tracking number?
Yes — you'll receive a FedEx tracking number by email the day your order ships. If you haven't received a tracking number within 3 business days of placing your order and approving your proof, email orders@signblastusa.com and we'll investigate.
Returns & Order Changes
What is your return policy?
All sales are final. Everything we print is custom made to your order — a sign with your phone number on it can't be restocked or resold — so we don't accept returns or issue refunds for change of mind, wrong size or quantity ordered, or a cancelled event.
That's exactly why we send a digital proof and don't print until you approve it. If we make a mistake — the product doesn't match your approved proof, there's a manufacturing defect, or it arrives damaged — we reprint or refund. Report it within 7 days with photos. Full detail is in our .
Can I cancel or change my order?
Before you approve your proof, yes — email us and we’ll cancel and refund you, less any design work already completed on your behalf. After proof approval, production starts immediately and the order can’t be cancelled or changed.
What if there's a typo on my signs?
If the typo was in the proof you approved, a reprint would be a new order at full price. If we introduced an error that wasn't in the proof you signed off on, we reprint it free. Read your proof carefully — especially the phone number.
Payment & Security
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Payment is processed securely through Stripe — we never see or store your card information. Transactions are protected with 256-bit SSL encryption.
Can I pay by check or invoice?
For large or recurring orders, we can arrange payment by check or ACH transfer. Email orders@signblastusa.com with your order details and we'll set it up. Standard orders (single purchases) go through our online Stripe checkout.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor (the highest level of security certification). Your card details are never stored on our servers — they're transmitted directly to Stripe's secure servers. The checkout page is secured with 256-bit SSL, indicated by the padlock icon in your browser.
Do you offer discounts for large orders or repeat customers?
Volume pricing is built into the order form for yard signs (10 to 250) and A-frames (1 to 8) — the per-unit price drops at each tier. For anything above that, multiple tents, bulk banners or a standing reorder, email orders@signblastusa.com with quantities and we will price it the same day. Reorders use your saved artwork, so there is no design step the second time.
