Hi — we’re Sign Blast USA.
A small print shop for contractors, tradesmen and anyone else who needs their name on something by Thursday. We answer the phone, we fix your artwork, and we don’t surprise you at checkout.
Why we started this
I’ve been in the printing trade for more than 25 years, and the same conversation kept coming up. Someone needs ten yard signs for an open house on Saturday. They find a site that only sells a hundred. They find another one that sells ten, then adds stakes at checkout, then adds shipping, then asks for a print-ready PDF they don’t have and can’t make.
So they give up, or they overpay, or they end up with something that doesn’t look like their business. That felt fixable.
Sign Blast USA is the version of that I wanted to exist. Send us whatever you have — a logo, a business card, a photo of the sign that’s been faded in your yard for three years — and a real person lays it out for you. You see a proof before anything prints. The price on the page is the price, stakes and shipping included. And if ten is all you need, ten is fine.
Who actually orders here
Mostly people who work with their hands. In our first fortnight the orders came from lawn-care crews, pressure washers, a hydro-wash outfit, a mobile detailer, a junk-removal company and a grounds-care firm on the Eastern Shore. Almost nobody ordered ten signs and stopped there — one grounds-care company ordered ten double-sided signs at five in the afternoon and came back twenty-one minutes later for twenty-five more on a second design.
That tells you what these signs are actually for. Not decoration. A landscaper puts one at the edge of the lawn he just cut, because the three neighbours who walk past it every evening are the cheapest new customers he will ever get. A pressure washer leaves one at the end of the driveway while the truck is still there. The sign is doing the same job the truck door is doing — which is why the magnets and the signs come off one artwork file here, and why you approve them on one proof.
If you are in the trades you already know the maths on drive time: the profitable customer is the one next door to the customer you already have. Most of what is on this site exists to help you get that one.
We will show you our working
Printers tend to be cagey about why things cost what they cost. We would rather just tell you, because once you understand the constraint you stop paying for things you do not need.
Why a wide sign and a tall sign are not the same to make
Yard signs are cut from a 4×8 foot sheet, and the flutes have to run vertically so the stake slides in. Turn the sign a quarter and the nesting changes: 24″ wide × 18″ tall gets ten off a sheet, 18″ × 24″ gets eight. Same square inches, different yield. We sell the sheet, so $95 buys ten wide signs or eight tall ones. The price does not move — the count does.
Why you get more business cards than you paid for
Seventy-two cards fit on a 16pt sheet. Order 500 and the press runs seven sheets, which is 504 cards, and we send you all of them rather than binning the extras. Order 100 and you will usually see about 144 turn up. It is not a promotion and we cannot promise an exact number — it is just what falls out of the sheet.
Why some things have a minimum and some do not
Stickers start at fifty because below that the freight costs more than the stickers, and charging you for that would be silly. Yard signs start at ten because ten is genuinely useful to a one-truck operation. Where a minimum exists it is a real cost, not a nudge up a tier.
How we actually work
We print through a national partner network
We don’t own factories, and we’re not going to pretend we do. We work with established production partners in California, Texas and Pennsylvania, and your job runs at whichever one is closest to you. That’s how a small shop can put free FedEx Ground shipping on every order, at every quantity. Small quantities welcome.
You don’t need design software
Send a logo, a business card, a screenshot, or a sentence describing what you want. Our designer builds the layout and emails you a proof. It’s free, it’s included, and it isn’t an upsell.
Nothing prints until you say so
Every order gets a digital proof within 2–4 business hours. You look at it, you tell us what to change, we change it. We’d rather redraw it four times than ship you something you don’t like — everything is custom, so there are no returns, and the proof is how we both avoid that.
The price on the page is the price
10 yard signs are $95 — steel step stakes and shipping in the number. No setup fee, no rush fee, no artwork fee, no shipping, stake, setup or artwork charges added at checkout. Add-ons are listed with their prices before you pick them.
We’re honest about where we’re not the answer
We are not the cheapest printer in the country, and on very large runs we won’t try to be — high-volume discounters will beat us on a thousand signs. Where we’re worth it is small and mid-size orders where you want it to look right, arrive fast, and cost what you were quoted. If your job isn’t that, we’ll tell you.
We are new, and we would rather say so
Sign Blast USA started taking orders in August 2026. The print trade behind it is twenty-five years old; this shop is not, and you should weigh that. What it buys you is that every order still gets looked at by someone who cares whether it turns up right, because at this size there is nowhere to hide. Some of it is still being worked out in the open — the sticker line is a genuine experiment, and if it does not earn its place we will say so rather than quietly leave it up.
Talk to a person
There’s no ticket queue here. Email or call and you get someone who can actually answer the question — about sizing, artwork, timing, or whether you even need the thing you’re about to order.
