Signs for Gyms, Studios & Boxes

Signage for a gym that’s in a strip mall and needs to not look like it.

Flags that pull eyes off the road, a sidewalk sign for the class schedule, a banner for the January rush and a tent for the community WOD.

A designer proofs your artwork within 2–4 hours and nothing prints until you approve it.

Most gyms lose members to the one people could see

Fitness studios end up in strip malls and light-industrial units because that is where the ceiling height is. The cost is visibility: you are the third unit from the end behind a nail salon, and nobody driving past knows you exist. Two feather flags at the road edge fix that for under $300 and work every day the doors are open.

The sidewalk A-frame is the second piece. Class schedule on one side, "First class free" and a QR to sign up on the other. It goes out at 5 am and comes in at close, and a new graphic when the schedule changes is $39.

Then the calendar: a "New Year, New You" banner in December, a "Summer Shred" in May, a branded tent for the charity WOD or the 5K booth. Same logo, same colours, one artwork file we keep on hand. Send the logo once.

Questions we get from gym owners

Will the landlord allow feather flags?
Usually yes for the sidewalk in front of your unit, sometimes with hours. Check the lease’s signage clause; many strip malls permit "temporary" signage, which flags qualify as. If the lot is shared, the cross base with water bag is the polite choice — no stakes in the landlord’s asphalt.
Can the A-frame show the class schedule?
Yes, and it is the most common gym A-frame we print. Keep it to the day’s highlights in big type rather than the full week in small type — a passer-by reads three lines, not fifteen. Put the QR to the full schedule under it.
How often should the banner change?
Monthly is ideal; quarterly is the realistic minimum. A banner that has said the same thing for a year becomes wallpaper. At $70 each, four a year is trivial against a single membership.
Can we get a tent for outdoor classes and events?
A 10×10 with the gym logo is $699 complete and works for the parking-lot WOD, the 5K booth and the farmers-market sign-up table. Most boxes own one by their second year.
