Roofers figured this out decades ago. People hire the contractor their neighbour hired. A sign in that yard with your name and number, left up for the length of the job, turns that trust into calls. A magnet on the truck parked in the driveway does the same thing all day. The kit is those two things, matched, in one order.
Why 25, and why double-sided
Twenty-five is enough for every active job plus a stack behind the seat, so a sign goes in the ground the morning you start — not after you remember to reorder. Double-sided because a job-site sign is read by traffic from both directions; single-sided shows your name to half the street. It is $2.40 more per sign and doubles the people who see it.
Why it costs $25 less than the pieces
Your signs and magnets come from one artwork and one proof and go in one box. That saves us a second layout and a second shipment, and the kit price passes it on. Buy 25 double-sided signs ($279) and a 24×12 magnet set ($95) separately and it is $374. The kit is $349.
Job-site signs, contractor signs, lawn signs — the same thing
Different trades call these different names and it makes them oddly hard to shop for. A job site sign, a contractor yard sign, a construction sign, a lawn sign: all of them are a 24″ × 18″ corrugated plastic panel on a steel step stake, stuck in the ground at the property you are working on. Builders and remodellers tend to say job site; roofers, landscapers and home services say yard sign. What matters is the size, whether both sides print, and whether the stake is included — here it is 24×18, both sides, one galvanised stake per sign.
For a fenced site or a long build, the sign is the wrong tool and a 3×6 banner is the right one: zip-tie it to the fence on day one and it reads from across the street for the length of the job. It is a one-tap add-on in step 4 above.
Reorders take two minutes
Your artwork stays on file. When the stack runs low, the next 25 signs are a reorder, not a project — same file, same proof already approved, straight to print.
Before you order, test your truck door with a fridge magnet. Most Ford F-150 doors since 2015 are aluminum, as are many EVs and some vans. If a fridge magnet does not hold, a car magnet will not either, and printed magnets cannot be returned. Doors fail the test? Order the 25 signs alone and ask us about decals.
